Do you want to help us build the DNA of tech? Vishay Asia is currently seeking applicants for a Customer Experience Account Specialist, based in Penang.

Major Responsibilities

  1. Management of all customer inquiries and coordinates internally timely and accurate responses
  2. Decision making ability to escalate when warranted to get required answers back to the customer
  3. Provides clear and complete communication both internal/external to the organization
  4. Supports strategy set for the customer to align with corporate objectives
  5. Expedites orders and works with planning to obtain improvements; escalates as needed to respective manager
  6. Provides solutions when a customer has a new requirement that has not been defined in our current procedures
  7. Shares relevant customer information to the broader organization to support customer growth
  8. Compliance and knowledge of our corporate procedures
  9. Training for both Soft Skills and Technical

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's degree or Equivalent Experience
  2. 3-5 years minimum in a Customer Experience role working directly with customers
  3. Industry experience is preferred; but not mandatory. Previous roles have included working closely with companies to support specific objectives and successfully navigating to a solution
  4. Working directly with customers to be a single point of contact and able to internally coordinate responses for any inquiry
  5. General understanding of the business and is constantly seeking to Think Customer First
  6. Comprehensive understanding of the customer knowledge and strong communication skills for internal/external organization
  7. Awareness of the sales strategy and aligns with the corporate goals to make the business
  8. Time management, persuasiveness and problem solving are important
