Responsibilities:- Develop and execute HR strategies that align with the company's overall goals and objectives.
- Provide guidance and counsel to senior leadership on HR matters, ensuring HR initiatives are integrated into business plans.
- Talent Acquisition and Management:
- Oversee the recruitment process, including candidate sourcing, selection, and onboarding.
- Develop and implement talent management programs, including succession planning and performance management.
- Employee Relations and Engagement:
- Promote a positive work culture by fostering open communication, resolving employee concerns, and promoting diversity and inclusion.
- Drive employee engagement initiatives and create an environment where employees feel valued and motivated.
- Training and Development:
- Identify training needs and develop and deliver training programs to enhance employee skills and competencies.
- Support career development and growth opportunities for employees.
- Compliance and Policy Implementation:
- Ensure HR policies and procedures are in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Lead efforts to implement and communicate HR policies and programs.
- Benefits and Compensation:
- Manage the company's compensation and benefits programs, ensuring competitiveness and fairness.
- Oversee payroll and related processes.
- Prepare annual budget for companywide manpower payroll costing, departmental expenses costing.
- HR Analytics and Reporting:
- Utilize HR data and analytics to drive informed decision-making and track HR KPIs.
- Prepare and present HR reports to senior leadership.
- Oversee the overall general administration of the premises, office maintenance, cleanliness, and security.
- Application of relevant business license, work permits, and visa.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree or relevant certifications preferred.
- Proven experience as an HR manager in the retail industry or a similar fast-paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
- Excellent leadership and people management skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence positive change.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Proficiency in English, Bahasa Malaysia. Mandarin speaker is required for reporting to China HQ.
