Assistant Coordinator

The Assistant Coordinator is responsible to assist Coordinator for the smooth running of the overall office administration and disbursement activities of Yayasan YARA.
**Key Responsibilities**
- To assist in assessing and evaluating case(s) received by Yayasan YARA
- To assist in conducting field work and site visit(s) in relation to any case(s) received and/or program(s) organized/ co-organized by Yayasan YARA
- To assist in preparing report(s) and/proposal(s) of the cases(s) and/or program(s)
- To assist in proposing new program(s)/ idea(s) for Yayasan YARA disbursement activities
- To assist in compiling and information for IRB submission and audit purposes
- To do office administration and filing
- To maintain Yayasan YARA social media platforms
- To take part in other Yayasan YARA key projects/ activities
- Other tasks as specified by immediate superior
**Essentials**
- Certificate/ Diploma/ Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as nonprofit management, business administration, social work, communications, or a related field is preferred.
- Previous experience working in a nonprofit organization or in a similar administrative role is beneficial. Experience with volunteer coordination, event planning, project management, can be an advantage
- Good organizational and administrative skills include knowledge in office software such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), as well as familiarity with databases.

- Able to work well with diverse groups of people, including volunteers, staff, and community members. This involves being approachable, empathetic, and able to build positive relationships.
- Being detail-oriented is crucial for maintaining accurate records, managing schedules, and ensuring that tasks are completed thoroughly and on time.
- The organizations often operate in dynamic environments where priorities can shift rapidly. Being flexible and adaptable to change is essential.
- Collaboration is often necessary in this job settings, so the ability to work effectively as part of a team is crucial. This includes being willing to pitch in and help out with various tasks as needed.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,600.00 per month
