Procurement Assistant

Position: Procurement Assistant
Salary Package: Basic RM1,500 - RM2,500
Working Location: Georgetown, Pulau Pinang
Company Background: Aesthetic Clinic
Working Days: 5 days (Monday to Friday)
Working Hours: 8.30am - 5.30pm

**Job Descriptions**:
- Receive, Inspect and Verify incoming merchandise follow the Goods Receive Note SOP, stock shelves, racks, and displays with products, ensuring proper labeling, monitor and manage inventory levels to prevent overstock or stockouts, communicate with procurement executive.
- Maintain accurate records of packed and shipped items. Update inventory system to reflect shipped orders and available stock. Notify relevant departments or personnel of low stock levels or shortages.
- Inspect items for defects, damage or missing components before packing. Verify the accuracy of items and quantities against packing lists and invoices. Maintain high standard of quality in packaging materials and methods
- Review customer orders and prioritize them for packing and shipping. Organize and consolidate items to fulfill multiple orders efficiently. Ensure that all items are included in the shipment and that orders are complete.
- Coordinate with shipping carriers or couriers to schedule pickups and deliveries. Prepare shipping documentation, such as waybills, custom forms, and bills of lading (if necessary). Select appropriate shipping methods and carriers based on customer preferences and delivery requirements.
- Prepare items for shipment by selecting appropriate packaging materials and methods. Ensure that items are securely packed to prevent damage during transportation. Label packages with the correct shipping information, including destination, tracking numbers, and shipping labels.
- Ensure the store is clean, organized, and well-maintained.
- Implement security measures to prevent theft and unauthorized access. Collaborate with store management on loss prevention strategies. Perform periodic stock take, inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.
- Perform any ad hoc tasks assigned by the Director/Manager.
**Job Requirements**:
- SPM, Diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience in a similar role with a retail or wholesale setting
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Basic math skills and inventory management
- Attention to detail and organization skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical stamina for standing, lifting and moving inventory.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: RM1,500.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
