**General Manager [Retail Industry]**
Location: IPC Shopping Centre (Near to IKEA Damansara)
Working Days: Monday - Friday
Working Hours: 9am - 6pm

Our company manages several brands, with plans to introduce more in the future, all within the retail sector. Presently, we oversee three brands: The Green Party (TGP) Living Collection, SPARKLE, and Wan to Play Space.
**TGP Living Collection Sdn Bhd** is expanding its presence in Southeast Asia, operating a significant chain of lifestyle and toys accessories stores with outlets in Singapore.
**SPARKLE **is a leading lifestyle merchandise brand in Singapore, catering primarily to the younger demographic. As a newcomer to the Malaysian market, we are poised to expand our presence and operations within the country over the coming years.
**Wan To Play Space Malaysia** is an innovative indoor playground designed to spark imagination and creativity in children. With a variety of interactive play areas and engaging activities, it offers a safe and fun environment for kids to explore, learn, and socialize. From themed play zones to educational games, Wan To Play Space Malaysia aims to provide an enriching and memorable experience for families and children of all ages. We are actively seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as we grow our business.
**Job Summary**
The General Manager (GM) oversees all aspects and several brands (TGP, WanToPlay Space, Sparkle, etc.) of the company's operations to ensure efficiency, productivity, and profitability. Reporting directly to the CEO or Board of Directors, the GM plays a key role in developing and implementing strategic plans to drive business growth and achieve organizational objectives. The GM leads and motivates a diverse team, fosters a positive work environment, and maintains effective communication channels within the organization.
**Key Responsibilities**
1. Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve company goals and objectives.
2. Oversee day-to-day operations and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
3. Lead and manage department heads to optimize performance and productivity.
4. Monitor financial performance and budgetary adherence, taking corrective actions as necessary.
5. Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
6. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence throughout the organization.
7. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
8. Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
9. Represent the company in meetings, conferences, and other business events as required.
10. Provide regular reports and updates to the CEO or Board of Directors on operational and financial performance.
**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field; MBA or equivalent preferred.
- Proven experience in a senior management role, preferably in a similar industry.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Solid understanding of financial management principles and practices.
- Strategic thinker with a track record of driving business growth and profitability.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
