JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
We are seeking for a talented engineering lead, well versed in network and cloud technologies. You would typically be involved in the following activities on a day-to-day basis:

- Require hands-on knowledge to play a System Administrative and Support role to manage services hosted on cloud, on site network, firewalls, databases, virtual environments and storage solutions.
- Creative and innovative to swiftly resolve complex system issues that affects the onsite broadcast network infra and cloud based systems/solutions and provide work around solutions to fix issues.
- Review technical software development design specifications documents and build requirements for (coding & scripting) that will address gaps identified before, during and after systems deployment.
- Daily tasks include overseeing ticket queues, support operations and maintenance, vendor and contract management, reporting and documentations, development of technical change management plans and to provide strategic technical planning to enhance resilience of existing systems/infrastructure to ensure continuous system availability.
- Train, coach, and mentor junior team members and provide technical documentations and knowledge transfer to improve overall team technical level.

**REQUIREMENTS**:
Essential Qualifications and Skills:

- Bachelor’s degree in Information Science / Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent.
- Above 8 years of working experience and proven record of implementing network deployments and troubleshooting complex network problems.
- Experience working with large scale network systems or in a 24/7 production environment, such as Data Centres, preferably in a broadcast environment within a OTT/IPTV video platforms/Multi-Channel Television Broadcast industry.
- Understanding of IP Networking on routers/firewalls, preferably experience in multicast routing, covering IGMP, BGP and OSPF.
- Experience in setting up monitoring and alerts for cloud computing environments, network infra, firewalls, databases, virtual environments (VMWare) and storage solutions.
- Exposure to solutions hosted on the ‘cloud’ (AWS, Microsoft Azure, etc.) and knowledge of following (HTML/CCS, C++, Java, Python, Ruby, Node.JS) will be an added advantage.
- Experience with implementing and supporting Spine/Leaf network architectures with low-latency, route/switch environments especially with exposure to multicast/video networks.
- Excellent communication, presentation and analytical skills.
- Must have passion for providing a great customer experience, extremely positive, innovative, creative and highly dedicated to deliver results.
- Technical certification such as CCNA, CCNP, AWS or equivalent
- Experience in Video distribution systems (transcoding & publishing)
