Department Business Development and Partnerships- LevelExperienced (Individual Contributor)- LocationMalaysia - Kuala LumpurThe Business Development and Partnerships teams at Shopee are dynamic and energetic. The teams are always looking to acquire business opportunities to drive Shopee to be the No. 1 e-commerce platform in Southeast Asia and Taiwan. The aim of the Business Development and Partnership teams is to provide Shopee’s buyers with a wide variety of product listings at the best prices.
- Develop and maintain a close relationship with Shopeefood’s merchants (Malay Cuisine Category)
- Construct high level strategic business plans and identify new sources of growth
- Educate merchants on methods to increase their sales and visibility in Shopeefood
- Negotiate deals with merchants and curate dishes for various campaigns, promotion, online marketing and media as required
- Analyze merchants’ progress, activities, sales performance and initiatives to drive orders and revenue
- Identify market gaps and manage pricing strategy, product assortment, and stock availability of merchants in different delivery platforms
- Secure investment from merchants through campaign cofund programs, media asset package and in store deals
- Work closely with internal teams (eg marketing, budget and planning, ops) to ensure good merchants experience with ShopeeFood

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in any field, experience in e-commerce / food delivery industry would be an added advantage
- Strong analytical skills (proficiency in Excel in required)
- Innovative problem-solving skills, able to dissect and identify problems and implement solutions accordingly
- Team player with an aptitude for work and the drive to constantly outperform your KPIs
- Excellent command of English and the ability to converse fluently in other languages (eg Bahasa Melayu, Mandarin) will be an added advantage
