Assistant Manager, Business Development

Assist the AVP in formulating a sales strategy and plan by analysing market trends, identifying target customers, and matching product features to target customers
- Assist in executing sales plans to meet company goals
- Reach out to leads based on sales strategy or processes to build relationships, identify sales opportunities, and communicate our value proposition to the potential lead
- Ensuring excellent customer service through regular client follow up
- Building business relationships with current and potential clients
- Ensure reporting of sales activities are recorded timely and accurately to enable the organization to analyse and further optimize processes
- Support the team with other responsibilities as required
- Owning the sales lifecycle from prospecting to implementation
- Conducting market research when needed
- Conducting R&D activities and developing conceptual framework for product innovation
- Planning and designing new product, packaging and/or related business initiatives with appropriate shariah concept and ensure compliance with the Bank’s policies and regulatory requirements
- Organizing and coordinating Product Working Committees (PWC) from the relevant departments/stakeholders to execute the product development process flow
- Preparing business proposal and obtaining necessary approvals
- Coordinating and providing support for the related operational matters
- Administering product pilot test / roll out and activities
- Provide product briefing / training, business support and advisory function
- Handling Bank Negara Approval Repository Systems (PARS), management reporting, external reporting, audit trail and other administrative functions
**REQUIREMENTS**
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Islamic Banking, Marketing, or any related field
- Minimum 3 years working experience
- Good organizational, planning, strong problem solving and interpersonal skills and able to produce accurate work under pressure and meeting stringent deadlines
- A self-starter with pleasant personality and service-oriented work perspective.
- Willing to travel
**Salary**: RM4,500.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
