Operations Administrator

**Role Description**
This is a full-time, entry-level hybrid role for an Operations Administrator at Lam Equity Sdn Bhd. As an Operations Administrator at Lam Equity, you will play a vital role in supporting our commitment to delivering exceptional service and meeting the growing demands for energy consumption in Malaysia. Working closely with our dynamic team and stakeholders, you will be responsible for various key tasks that contribute to the consistent and efficient supply of high-quality coal while upholding the highest standards of quality assurance.
**Responsibilities**:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of company documents, coal-related documents and transactions
- Utilise software tools such as Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets to analyse data and generate reports
- Assist the Operations Manager with meetings, generating meeting minutes, and compiling meeting reports
- Identify opportunities for process and data management improvement within the operations workflow
- Implement strategies to enhance efficiency and streamline operational processes as needed
- Assist Operations Manager with coal order-related tasks and transactions, including documentation, form completion, and document compilation
- Ensure accuracy in all information used for the coal-order related tasks
- Stay updated on the developments in the coal trading and energy industry
- Stay informed about global news updates that may impact the coal trading and energy industry
- Contribute insights and recommendations based on industry knowledge and market trends
- Foster effective communication and collaboration with internal teams and other stakeholders
- Maintain open lines of communication to facilitate clear and conscientious interaction with the Operations Manager, providing updates on progress and promptly addressing any issues or challenges encountered with assigned tasks
**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in Business, International Business, Business Administration, Logistics/Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrate strong organisational skills, punctuality, and a proactive approach to tasks and responsibilities
- Exceptional attention to detail with a keen eye for accuracy and precision in handling data, calculations, and other tasks
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, demonstrating professionalism to effectively interact with the operations team, suppliers and stakeholders
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software tools for maintaining accurate records and generating reports
- Knowledge and/or experience in the coal industry and international trade regulations is a plus
- Proficiency in Malay/Bahasa Indonesia is advantageous
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply

**Notes**
- The successful applicant will be required to undergo a 3 (three) months probationary period
