Contracts Administrator

**THE OPPORTUNITY**
Our client is an Australian-owned company that specializes in window and soft furnishings. Their goal is to create a positive, creative and enjoyable workplace by engaging staff who are passionate and motivated. As a Contracts & Compliance Officer, you will be responsible for managing contracts throughout their lifecycle and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Draft, review, and revise contracts from customers for upcoming projects. Ensure all contracts are accurately documented and stored on the server with details input into our CRM as necessary.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and correspond with customers as requested to negotiate favorable terms and conditions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and risk mitigation strategies
- Manage contract databases and tracking systems (ie. Retentions and claims tracking),
- Collaborate with external safety officers to develop, implement, and maintain policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and regulatory standards.
- Generate reports and analytics on contract performance, compliance status, trends, and metrics, providing insights to support strategic decision-making and continuous improvement efforts.
**KEY REQUIREMENTS**
- A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in Contract Administration with a strong understanding of contract management principles and practices.
- Proficiency in contract review, negotiation, and administration, with a keen eye for detail in contract documentation.
- Familiarity with contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Previous experience in construction, soft furnishings, window solutions or related fields is highly regarded.
