Requires his/her presence at the lobby area or high contact area of guests. Maintaining a very good rapport with all guests and employees of the Hotel. To handle as many complaints as possible and to perform follow up on the issue noted with a precedent courtesy letter (apology letter, thank you letter etc.). Performing the most personalized service whenever opportunity arises should be the main objective and the motto for Guest Service Excellence.To check thoroughly daily for VIP’s, CIP’s, Long Term and Regulars guests etc. thus, to ensure all room’s assignment is up to guest’s status and all personalized welcome letter to be prepared and in room, proper co-ordination for a speedy check-in or in-room check-in, relevant requested amenities has been sent (baby cot, extra bed, prayer mat, iron & board, fruit basket etc.) rooms are clean thoroughly, free from maintenance defect etc.To conduct courtesy call daily to just arrived guest, occupied guest and departing guest. After which to submit the courtesy call sheet for Front Office Manager and Duty Manager perusal before submitting to General Manager’s office.To co-ordinate all standardized welcome card for repeat guest and to prepare the standard Japanese welcome letter for the Japanese clientele before arrivalsTo offer assistance to all guest that are at the Hotel’s lobby for issue such as greeting incoming guests, information dissemination, Hotel’s directions, Food & Beverage recommendations and miscellaneous queries.
