Manager - Business Development

**Strategic Business Development**:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy aligned with organizational goals.
- Identify and pursue strategic partnerships, collaborations, and opportunities for sustained growth.
**Sales Management**:
- Lead the sales process, from prospecting and lead generation to proposal development and contract negotiation.
- Collaborate with the sales team to achieve and exceed revenue targets, ensuring the successful conversion of leads into clients.
**Ad Hoc Task Management**:
- Proactively identify and assess ad hoc business development opportunities that may arise spontaneously.
- Handle ad hoc tasks related to business development as assigned by the management team
- Respond swiftly to emerging trends and unexpected openings, leveraging the organization's capabilities for rapid deployment.
**Client Relationship Management**:
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, clients, and partners to understand their evolving needs.
- Provide excellent customer service and support throughout the sales and project execution process.
**Market Research and Analysis**:
- Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and potential opportunities.
- Conduct real-time market research to evaluate the feasibility and potential impact of ad hoc tasks.
**Collaboration and Coordination**:
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to align initiatives and maximize efficiency.
- Coordinate resources effectively to ensure the timely execution of both planned and ad hoc projects.
**Results Monitoring and Reporting**:
- Implement performance metrics and reporting mechanisms to track the success and impact of strategic initiatives, sales efforts, and ad hoc tasks.
- Provide regular updates to senior management on progress, challenges, and opportunities.
- Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to business development activities.
- Regularly analyse sales data and trend to make data-driven decisions and adjustments to strategies.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or partnerships.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
**Job Type**: Contract
Contract length: 12 months
**Salary**: From RM5,500.00 per month
