Payroll & Accounts Executive

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia AGENSI PEKERJAAN TERRA STAFFING SOLUTIONS SDN BHD Full time

**This position is to be filled internally for our company Terra Asia Global Business Support Services and the office location is central in Kuala Lumpur City Centre.**

**Key Responsibilities**:
1. Assist to handle all accounting, clerical and administrative functions of the Admin and Finance department

2. Calculate and process payroll salaries, wages, bonuses, and deductions accurately and in a timely manner and able to work independently

3. Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations regarding payroll taxes, withholding, and reporting

4. Handle payroll inquiries and discrepancies from employees and clients.

5. Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations, keeping abreast of changes that may affect the organization

6. Keeping a thorough record of business transactions and entering data from daily work logs into company general ledger, account receivables, invoicing and related payment functions

7. Handle accounting data entry, matching of accounting documents, and other day-to-day operations of accounting functions for the group of companies

8. Cash reconciliation in ensuring bookkeeping is kept up todate; ensuring all accounting records and documents are properly filed, labelled, and kept for audit purposes

9. Perform general administrative activities to ensure smooth operation of the organization.

10. Conduct admin data entry accurately and in a timely manner to maintain up-to-date records

11. Responsible for office admin operations and liaison with all the vendors

13. Follow-up with debtors outstanding payment etc

14. Handle ad-hoc tasks as assigned by management, ensuring completion within deadlines.

15. Maintain both computerized and manual filing systems, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in document storage.

16. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions and payroll information.

17. Ensure proper documentation of financial transactions and compliance-related records.

**Qualifications and Skills**:
**- Minimum of 3 years of work experience in related field is required**

1. Knowledge and experience in using SQL Accounting systems is a must

2. has strong HR Payroll knowledge and compliance

3. Detailed-oriented, able to perform under pressure and meet deadlines

4. Possess a strong sense of sensibility, commitment and discipline

5. Self-motivated and able to work independently under minimum supervision and has good teamwork skills

6. strong attention to detail, analytical skills, proficiency in accounting and payroll software, knowledge of relevant laws and regulations

7. excellent communication and interpersonal skills and good leadership skills.

8. Additionally, staying organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively is crucial in managing the varied responsibilities of a Payroll & Accounts Executive.

9. Has good command of English and written skills to liaise with our foreign clientele

**Work Arrangements/schedule-**

1. Day shift

2. Monday to Thursday
- 9AM to 6PM

Friday
- 9M to 5:30PM

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: RM2,500.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
