About the Role

Customer Centricity is AIA’s key pillar in its business’s income generation strategy particularly driving existing customer repurchase. Therefore, marketing initiatives will be put in place to enable the business to achieve its repurchase target and ultimately the financial goals. The Principal, Customer Strategy & Marketing is required to craft promotional ideation, strategy and to ensure smooth implementation of these customer initiatives and achieve their intended targets.

Role & Responsibilities- Financial Management: Achieve the incremental business value via upsell/cross sell campaigns by targeting and providing the right offer to customers.- Analytics: Understand and analyze our existing customer base across individual, takaful, corporate and digital platforms by customer segments. Run surveys, focus groups, leverage on digital and data to get insight to their behaviors, wants and needs. Pull all this, understanding together to develop strategies which drive repeat customer purchase, cross and upsell.- Strategy, Planning & Execution: Support the AD and Senior Leadership team in developing the repurchase and customer engagement strategy. Drive at least 1 key pillar of this strategy - which includes executing customer marketing plans and identification of agent segments to focus on, to deliver repurchase targets. Familiarize with our agency distribution workforce and other distribution channels. Understand what makes them tick, get consistent feedback, and adjust efforts accordingly.- Collaboration: Collaborate with stakeholders across departments and within Customer Strategy & Marketing - agency distribution, partnership distribution, corporate solutions, customer propositions, nurturing, app development, tech, actuarial, etc. Operate under the Agile methodology.- Digital: Adopt our marketing automation functionality and understand how to leverage on the AIA app functionalities to deliver more effective marketing campaigns and strategies.

Minimum Job Requirements- Minimum Degree in Marketing, Economics, Information Technology, or any other related field. The equivalent of this requirement in working experience is also acceptable for this position.- Minimum 10 years working experience in the insurance or financial services industry, with a focus on marketing & campaign management.- Strong interpersonal and communications skills, with good stakeholder management capability.- Strong analytical skills and business acumen.- Strong data skillsets using excel with pivot, CSV, etc- Ability to motive, inspire and develop a team.
