Regional Account Manager

**The Company**
Our client is an established logistics company who provides airfreight, ocean freight and contract logistics solutions across more than 120 locations globally.
**Responsibilities**:
Reporting to the VP Regional Sales or District Director, the Regional Account Manager will be responsible for successful strategic development of one or multiple clients. Manage complex internal and external networks. Influence both internal and external decision-makers and respond promptly to changing needs and situations. Key duties are business retention and development, including tactical and strategics duties.
- Manage the overall business relationship in a client-facing capacity.
- Conduct account mapping and business unit breakdown.
- Prepare and run Quarterly Business Reviews.
- Ensure that each office servicing the account understands and adheres to the SOPs.
- Create, monitor and distribute reports.
- Performance management, conduct market analysis and maintain industry awareness.
- Drive internal collaborations by supporting and sharing best practices.
- Conduct impact and coverage analysis to identify service or opportunity gaps.
- Establish a relationship beyond primary contacts and the organizational structure.
- Maintain rates and assess yields monthly.
- Monitor accounts for timely payments and assist in collecting overdue invoices.
- Input all meeting details and feedback into the CRM and distribute to appropriate people in global network.
- Travel within the regional to visit accounts and offices to review procedures and maintain customer satisfactions.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Identify growth opportunities and develop strategies with internal resources.
- Create business development plans with short
- and long-term objectives, initiatives and quantified value-added contributions.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
- 3 - 5 years of experience in sales / account management / operations.
- Thorough knowledge of transportation, logistics and freight forwarding industry.
- Thorough knowledge of successful sales techniques.
- Strong knowledge in Energy / Oil & Gas.
- Experience in CRM systems.
- Internal and external sales skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Detail oriented, multitasker, and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Strong analytical and program management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Independent and able to work in a team.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From RM15,000.00 per month
