About the RoleThis role will act as a frontline quick responder, supporting employees and people leaders, creating a positive employee experience with efficiency, empathy, and accountability. In circumstances of more complex situations, the specialist will know when and who to consult with to ensure a satisfactory outcome; escalating when needed.
Key Responsibilities- Provide timely and effective support to people leaders and team members through various channels, including email, phone, and in-person meetings.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to review, update, and communicate People-specific policies in line with legislation changes, best practice, and market trends.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of HR systems, policies, and procedures to provide accurate and efficient support to stakeholders.
- Identify areas for improvement and make recommendations to enhance the employee experience.
- 2-3 years of Human Resources experience
- Degree in Human Resources or related field considered an asset
- HR Professional certification and PHR/SPHR/CPHR considered an asset
- A desire to have a strong customer-centric mindset to provide exceptional and personal employee experience with a sense of urgency
- Excellent written, oral communication skills, and strong interpersonal skills to interact with all levels of the organization.
