Established in Ipoh Perak, our client is a leading player in the F&B industry with 14 bakery outlets and 2 trendy pastry cafes in Selangor.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for upholding top-tier quality and consistency across all pastry and bakery products. This involves innovating and refining recipes to ensure an authentic yet contemporary product offering.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining high standards in taste, texture, and presentation through rigorous quality control processes.
  • Managing inventory of baking ingredients to ensure freshness and availability.
  • Providing training and mentorship to junior bakers, fostering a culture of excellence.
  • Collaborating with product development and management teams to launch new and seasonal creations in line with market trends.
  • Ensuring strict hygiene and safety protocols are maintained, promoting a clean and professional workspace.

Requirements include:

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in pastry or bakery roles.
  • A culinary degree or equivalent certification in pastry arts, bakery, or related fields.
  • Proven expertise as a Pastry Chef, Bakery Chef, or R&D Chef, specializing in bakery innovations.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills to manage and inspire a team.
  • Deep knowledge of baking techniques, ingredient properties, and recipe creation.
  • A creative and innovative mindset, with a passion for exploring flavors, textures, and presentations.

The estimated salary for this position is RM80,000 - RM120,000 per annum, based on industry standards and the candidate's level of experience.
