  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize purchasing decisions, reduce costs, and improve supplier relationships.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate demand forecasting, inventory management, and quality control.
  • Manage contracts and agreements with suppliers, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for the company.
  • Prepare and present reports on category performance, cost savings, and procurement metrics to management.
  • Project category sales projections and prepare reports on category turnover days.
Requirements
  • Minimum education: Degree/Diploma based on experience.
  • Minimum 3 years experience as a purchasing or category manager in any FMCG retail company.
  • Good command of English & Bahasa Malaysia; proficiency in MS Office is a must.
  • Able to communicate and work well in a team.
  • Have a deep understanding of the SOP and processes related to Purchasing/Category.
  • Self-motivated, attentive to details, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
