About the Role:

The Sales Enablement Specialist plays a pivotal role in developing and implementing sales enablement strategies that drive awareness, education, and intent for assigned products and aftermarket services. This individual will work closely with sales teams and channel partners to provide them with sales-qualified leads and approaches to effectively engage customers and close new deals.

This position is key to driving business growth as it involves leading the development of strategies, tools, and processes necessary for our sales team and channel partners to succeed in the marketplace. A successful candidate will gather insights from market trends, competition, and customer needs to execute initiatives that improve existing sales processes and deliver on orders and margin goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Growth Program Strategy: Design, deploy, and manage targeted promotional campaigns or programs aimed at improving performance in end-markets and/or channel partner behavior and attainment. This includes partnering with marketing and product management to develop regional content to communicate product value propositions at target markets.
  2. NPD Commercialization Owner: Develop and execute against detailed launch plans, while working in close collaboration with marketing, product management, and engineering to ensure sales effectiveness, adoption, and excitement for new products and solutions offerings.
  3. NPD Pipeline: Stay informed on new technology and application trends within the market. Recognize accretive business opportunities and make recommendations to the business on new products or services.
  4. Product Support Leadership: Utilize technical and commercial expertise to support product configuration, quotations, and securing orders for new projects aligned with company margin expectations. Provide project management for identified opportunities/orders to ensure compliance with quality, delivery, and performance metrics.
  5. Demand Planning: Lead demand planning for assigned products by utilizing analytical, marketing, and sales data to estimate future product demands. Collaborate cross-functionally to communicate and align on sales, inventory, and operational plans (SIOP) to support forecasts while communicating risks and developing activities to help mitigate those risks.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, engineering technology, or business with equivalent experience in technical sales and 3-5 years of experience in the industrial segment.
  • Business acumen and a passion for working with sales teams to deliver a frictionless customer experience that results in business growth.
  • Passionate about and experienced with product/service offering development and commercialization.
  • A change agent with a passion for continuous improvement and enhancing sales effectiveness through the development of sales enablement tools.
  • Strong analytical foundation with the ability to identify business and market trends and creatively draw inferences regarding growth opportunities.
  • Comfortable working with operations teams for demand and inventory planning.
  • Experience building and executing growth strategies, including designing, deploying, and managing targeted promotional campaigns or programs aimed at improving performance in end-markets and/or channel partners.
