Application Support Expert

Cognizant, a leading IT services company, is seeking a skilled Application Production Support Specialist to ensure the smooth operation of mission-critical applications and systems. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, as well as experience with ticketing systems and incident management tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor application performance and resolve production incidents in a timely manner.
- Analyze, diagnose, and troubleshoot application issues, including user-reported problems, performance bottlenecks, and system failures.
- Collaborate with internal teams to monitor, maintain, and improve the performance of production applications.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2+ years of experience in application support or IT operations, with a focus on production support and total relevant working experiences not less than 5 years.
- Experience with SQL for database querying, analysis, and debugging.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical users.
