About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Senior HR Executive (Payroll & Employee Relation) to join our client's expansion team in Johor Bahru, Johor. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of payroll and employee relations, playing a crucial part in the overall success of our organisation.

What you'll be doing

  1. Oversee and manage the entire payroll process, ensuring timely and accurate disbursement of salaries and benefits
  2. Serve as the primary point of contact for all employee-related queries and concerns, fostering positive employee relations
  3. Coordinate and facilitate employee onboarding, training, and offboarding processes
  4. Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and documentation
  5. Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures
  6. Collaborate with various departments to address HR-related matters and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
  7. Provide support and guidance to managers on HR-related matters, including performance management and disciplinary actions
  8. Participate in HR projects and initiatives to continuously improve HR processes and employee experience

What we're looking for

  1. Bachelor Degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
  2. At least 5 years of experience in a similar HR executive or specialist role, preferably in a consulting or generalist HR environment
  3. Strong knowledge and understanding of payroll processing, employee relations, and HR best practices
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with employees at all levels
  5. Proficient in the use of HR information systems and data management
  6. Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills to identify and address HR-related challenges
  7. Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and upholding professional ethics
