We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Application Support to ensure the smooth operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of our enterprise applications. This role acts as the first line of support for application-related issues and collaborates closely with users, developers, and infrastructure teams to resolve incidents, implement fixes, and optimize system performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Application and Technical Support:

  1. Provide day-to-day support for enterprise applications, including troubleshooting, issue resolution, and coordination with vendors for annual maintenance and fixes.
  2. Escalate unresolved issues to application vendors and monitor progress to ensure timely resolution.
  3. Coordinate and manage deployment of application fixes across UAT and Production environments.
  4. Ensure all program releases are properly controlled, documented, and compliant with internal standards.
  5. Conduct unit testing and support user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate application changes.

System Monitoring and Optimization:

  1. Continuously monitor application performance and identify opportunities for enhancement to improve reliability, efficiency, and user experience.
  2. Oversee and ensure successful completion of End-of-Day (EOD) and End-of-Month (EOM) processes.

IT Administration:

  1. Assist in organizing and managing IT-related meetings and documentation.
  2. Support the tracking and approval process for system renewals and licensing.

Disaster Recovery (DR):

  1. Participate in disaster recovery planning and execution for supported applications.
  2. Assist in developing and maintaining DR strategies and documentation.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  2. Minimum of 2 years of IT experience, with at least 1 year in application development and support.
  3. Strong programming foundation and technical troubleshooting skills.

  4. Preferred Skills & Competencies:

  6. Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and grow.
  7. Results-driven and achievement-oriented.
  8. Proficiency in software development and system design.
  9. Solid technical support capabilities.
  10. Strong SQL skills.

Additional Advantages:

  • Experience in the financial services or banking sector.
  • Knowledge of XML technologies (XPath, XQuery, XSLT).
  • Exposure to web services development (WSDL, SOAP, RESTful APIs).
  • Familiarity with Java, Oracle SOA, Oracle BPM, or Python.
  • Familiarity with enterprise systems such as Loan, Accounting, Treasury, and/or eInvoice platforms.
