The Sales Support Clerk provides basic administrative and support tasks for the sales team. This includes preparing quotations, handling documents, coordinating with suppliers and customers, and maintaining office and digital files. The role helps ensure smooth daily operations and accurate record keeping.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Sales & Quotation Support

  2. Prepare simple sales quotations for customers.

  3. Update quotation details and ensure accuracy before submission.

  4. Supplier Coordination

  5. Request and collect price quotations from suppliers.

  6. Update and record supplier pricing in the system or folder.

  7. Document Control

  8. Organize and maintain documents such as quotations, purchase orders, and tender files.

  9. Ensure proper filing, version control, and easy retrieval of documents.

  10. Tender Documentation Assistance

  11. Assist in preparing tender forms and supporting documents.

  12. Upload tender documents to online portals when required.

  13. Cloud Storage Management

  14. Upload and update files in cloud storage (e.g., Google Drive / OneDrive).

  15. Maintain neat and organized folder structures.

  16. Communication & Coordination

  17. Communicate with suppliers and customers via email or WhatsApp for ordering details and clarifications.

  18. Follow up on quotation status when necessary.

  19. Online Platform Data Entry

  20. Key in data, upload quotations, and update information in customer/vendor online systems.

  21. Office Administration

  22. Monitor and maintain sales stock (chemical goods).

  23. Assist with general administrative tasks as required.

Requirements

  • Minimum SPM or equivalent.
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Email).
  • Able to organize files and follow procedures.
  • Good communication skills and willingness to learn.
  • Responsible, careful with details, and able to follow instructions.

Added Advantage

  • Experience in sales support, admin, or clerical work (not required but helpful).
  • Familiar with cloud storage or online platforms.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM1, RM2,100.00 per month
