About the Role: We are seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager to drive growth in our cybersecurity division. In this role, you will identify new market opportunities, manage key client relationships, and strategically expand our footprint in the cybersecurity sector. You will act as the bridge between complex security solutions and client business needs.
Job Responsibilities
- Strategic Market Expansion: Conduct in-depth market research to identify trends and high-potential verticals. Generate qualified leads through cold outreach, professional networking, and industry events to build a robust sales pipeline.
- Client Acquisition & Consultation: Engage C-level executives and IT decision-makers to understand their unique security posture. Present tailored cybersecurity frameworks (SOC, Cloud Security, etc.) and collaborate with technical teams to draft winning proposals.
- Revenue Growth & Strategy: Develop and execute sales strategies to exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets. Align with marketing and product teams to refine value propositions based on real-time market feedback.
- Subject Matter Expertise: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the cybersecurity landscape, including emerging threats, compliance regulations, and our proprietary product suite to effectively advise clients.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, CS, IT, or related field. (Master's Degree is an added advantage).
- Minimum 3 years of proven experience in Business Development or Sales, specifically within the Cybersecurity industry.
- Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Able to speak in Mandarin will be an added advantage.
- Strong familiarity with cybersecurity domains, including SOC, penetration testing, and cloud security.
- Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills. Proficiency with CRM tools is required.
- Able to start immediately will be an added advantage.
