This position is responsible for leading and planning the billing operations for up to 20-person department.

The individual is responsible for designing, implementing and enforcing policies and procedures, as well as streamlining effective billing processes across multiple markets.

This position is highly visible and requires a strong leader with the ability to prioritize, plan, and direct the department.

Responsible for identifying and leading continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Billing Team located in Kuala Lumpur
  • Manage Billing processes ensuring smooth flow of activities for different locations in scope of the Billing Team
  • Create, implement, and enforce procedures and policies, as well as streamline effective billing processes across multiple markets.
  • Plan and implement quality assurance for all processes.
  • Ensure strong collaboration with different stakeholders and parties.
  • Identify and drive process efficiencies by identification of areas prone to automation or other technological enhancements.
  • Act as the first point of contact for external, internal and SOX audits related to Billing processes.
  • Cooperate closely with the Regional Management to drive different Pan-Regional initiatives.
  • Closely monitoring of KPIs and making sure that they meet agreed standards. Propose remediation steps in case of discrepancies.
  • Make sure that internal controls work accurately and efficiently.
  • Act as a strong strategic partner in transition and process design projects (including various testing initiatives)

Education/Work Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree completed in Finance or Commercial Administration
  • Experienced leader with an understanding of CBC (credit, billing and collections) processes in a multinational corporation
  • Minimum 5year relevant business experience, people management experience is a must.
  • Knowledge of APAC Region billing requirements and common practices will be a highly valued asset.
  • Business and technology acumen within CBC processes
  • Proven track record for improving process efficiencies and solving problems.
  • Excellent understanding of the critical success factors for Shared Service Center
  • Knowledge and understanding of SAP/Oracle financial processes.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office Suite Excel, Word, Outlook software
  • Fluent English in speaking and writing.
  • Customer service, process improvement, people, and project management skills
  • Lean / Six sigma qualification will be an asset.
  • Ability to manage diverse stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinking and operational delivery
  • Strong problemsolving skills.
  • Ability to lead and motivate teams.
  • Drive/enthusiasm/team worker
