Seek a Sales Representative to lead Inside Sales and Key Account efforts in KL, Bandar Sri Damansara, focusing on lead generation, client solutions, and marketing activities, as well as customer prospecting, value creation, and digital engagement.
Job DescriptionThis role involves developing and accomplishing a region lead generation plan, meeting or exceeding monthly or annual targets, and responsible for new account development, honing selling skills, and evaluating client requirements.
- Develop and accomplish a region lead generation plan, meeting or exceeding monthly or annual targets.
- Responsible for new account development, hone your selling skill speaking to key decision makers.
- Evaluate client requirements and provide solutions.
- Organize, plan and properly schedule sales activities.
- Execute marketing activities in promotion.
- Follow up with prospects on a regular/scheduled basis to secure deals soonest.
- Listen and probe prospect needs and budget before suggesting suitable product or package.
- Familiarize yourself with the CRM system and use it well to prospect for new clients.
- Provide activity summary report at the end of every working day to team lead.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing set targets.
- Ability to achieve sales target set by the management.
- Seek personal and team improvements through ongoing upgrading of sales skills and knowledge.
- Prospecting new customers and attend to inbound enquiries from new customers.
- Maintain an up-to-date Account Plan for each account.
- Discover and scope value-creation (or sales) opportunities within the account.
- Expand scope of services to new departments or organizations in your assigned accounts.
- Ensure CRM is up to date with Account information.
- Provide timely progress report to your direct superior through account plan reviews.
- Meet pipeline targets (size, speed, and efficiency).
- Be proficient in TAS or ABS sales process (training will be provided).
- Manage & maximize digital engagement with major accounts with assistance from the Marketing team.
- Ensure and achieve high customer satisfaction levels from your Major Accounts.
Inside Sales Job Requirements:
- Strong work ethic.

- Eager and motivated to make a difference to the engineering community.
- Good communication and inter-personal skills.
- High integrity and respect for others.
- Required language(s): English.
- Required Skill(s): Good in Phone Selling.
Key Account Job Requirements:
- Possess tertiary certification/qualification in Engineering, Business Management, Sales & Marketing.
- Have experience (2 years or more) in a sales management or sales related employment.
- Advantage in possessing Mechanical CAD industry knowledge and sound IT background.
- Be proficient in using Microsoft Office suite of tools.
- Have high proficiency in language – particularly English.
- Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Software
- Cold Calling
- SolidWorks (CAD)
- Verbal Communication Skills
