About The Team
The Business Development and Partnerships teams at Shopee are dynamic and energetic. The teams are always looking to acquire business opportunities to drive Shopee to be the No. 1 e-commerce platform in Southeast Asia and Taiwan. The aim of the Business Development and Partnership teams is to provide Shopee's buyers with a wide variety of product listings at the best prices.

Job Description

  • End-to-end responsibility of the P&L and growth of a business unit in seller management
  • Define, implement and execute the business development and growth strategy for the business unit
  • Develop data-backed business strategies and support the business teams in executing the strategies
  • Identifying and overcoming challenges through comprehensive investigation, analysis, and solution design, while continually monitoring and reporting on key issues affecting the business unit
  • Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to lead and execute initiatives that support key business objectives
  • Engaging with senior leadership to drive forward key growth initiatives for the business unit
  • Identify, establish and grow other local strategic partnerships

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in any field, with at least 5 years of working experience in a high-performing organization
  • Prior working experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, business development, e-commerce, or fast-paced tech start-ups is a plus
  • Experienced in management and leadership roles. Passionate in coaching, mentoring and team management
  • Highly analytical and able to generate meaningful and actionable analysis
  • Strong logical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Possess strong business acumen and commercial savviness
  • Results-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to execution
