Database Administrator

We are looking for a Microsoft SQL Server database administrator to join our client team that is developing and maintaining the largest land and sea ticketing website in Southeast Asia.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Perform installation, patching, and upgrading for the database and database infrastructure.
- Generate various reports by querying from the database as needed.
- Assist programmers with database design, query writing, and query optimization.
- Support database monitoring, migration, and maintenance (archive, backup and restoration, performance analysis and tuning, indexing, etc.)
- Manage user accounts and permissions. Implement database security policies.
- Troubleshoot and resolve 24x7 production database issues promptly.
**Qualifications**:
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology/Software Engineering or equivalent.
- At least 3 years of working experience as a Microsoft SQL Server database administrator.
- Experience in Microsoft SQL Server High Availability is a must.
- Experience in other database systems like MongoDB and OceanBase is an added advantage.
- Able to work independently as well as in a team and have self-initiative
