Join us as Solution Sales Manager for the Electrification Smart Power Division where you will be developing and maintaining (product group) effective sales strategy in specified market scope to improve ABB market penetration and realize growth aspirations in the assigned scope. Setting, planning, and ensuring execution of sales strategy within the assigned scope locally, to achieve both qualitative and quantitative sales targets for products, systems and/or services in a profitable way, order growth, revenues, profitability, market share, sales productivity, and customer satisfaction. Monitoring proactively sales performance, ensuring development and implementation of correction actions to secure business growth when and where needed. Proactively leading, developing and coaching the sales organization to exceed the sales targets through high performance. Reporting to Sales Manager - Segment and Solution and this position will be based in Subang Jaya, Malaysia.
**Your responsibilities**:
- Creating, planning, and implementing global/regional/local sales strategy and strategic business development initiatives for the Business area/Division/Product Group. Defining key sales targets and establishing appropriate metrics and measurement tools to monitor performance
- Anticipating and identifying shortfalls in performance and takes appropriate remedial action. Driving top line growth
- Identifying and evaluating opportunities with existing and potential new customers on a global/local basis, determining plans for implementation and allocates resources
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with key decision makers in customer and potential customer organizations
- Identifying, monitoring and maintaining/exceeds the sales market price levels, evaluating with product management pricing impact on the results and supporting local sales organizations to ensure achievement of sales volume and product mix targets
- Identifying and managing potential risks relating to contract agreements across customers/channels including cyber security risks
- Developing, implementing, and reviewing sales processes and tools, and all related training and development activities
- Ensuring (with HR Manager support) that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed. Coaching, motivating, and developing direct & indirect subordinates within HR policies
**Your background**:
- Degree in Electrical/Electronic/Mechanical Engineering field or equivalent
- Overall 8years of experience with minimum 5 years of commercial leadership experience in large, complex, fast-pace, matrixed, innovative industrial organizations, with direct management of large sales and marketing teams preferably in system business
- Experience in Low Voltage Solutions - EV charger, UPS, LV Switchgear will be an added advantage
- Excellent leadership and people development/management skills, relevant and successful change management experience
- Demonstrated experience in development and implementation of marketing and sales strategy
- Excellent communication, ability to influence at all levels with excellent negotiation and fluent in written and spoken English
