**Business Development Executive**
- Qualifications and Skills:
- A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is required to ensure a solid foundation in business principles.
- Demonstrated experience in business development, sales, or a related role, preferably in a project-oriented environment. Experience in the construction industry or related fields is highly desirable.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills are essential for effective client engagement and relationship-building.
- Strong presentation and proposal writing skills to articulate business solutions and value propositions clearly and persuasively.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with internal and external parties to achieve common goals and objectives.
- Proven track record of being goal-oriented with the ability to meet or exceed sales targets, demonstrating a commitment to driving business growth.
- Knowledge of construction industry trends and market dynamics, especially in the areas of Environmental, will be considered an added advantage.
- Ability to adapt to various working environments and effectively manage tasks in a dynamic business setting.
As a Business Development Executive, you will play a crucial role in driving the growth and success of the company by identifying and creating new business opportunities. This role involves building and maintaining relationships with potential clients, understanding their needs, and collaborating with internal teams to develop and implement effective strategies. The Business Development Executive is responsible for achieving sales targets, expanding the customer base, and contributing to the overall business development objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Market Research:
- Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients, industry trends, and competitive landscapes.
- Stay informed about market changes, emerging opportunities, and potential risks.
Client Identification and Acquisition:
- Identify and target potential clients through various channels, including cold calling, networking, and leveraging online platforms.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads to achieve sales targets.
Relationship Building:
- Establish and cultivate strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
- Act as a primary point of contact for clients, addressing their inquiries and maintaining a positive customer experience.
Needs Assessment:
- Understand the business needs and challenges of potential clients through effective communication and needs analysis.
- Collaborate with internal and external parties to tailor solutions that meet client requirements.
Proposal Development:
- Prepare and present compelling proposals, presentations, and quotations to potential clients.
Sales Negotiation and Closure:
- Conduct negotiations with clients to finalize deals and secure contracts.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets through effective sales strategies and closing techniques.
Market Expansion:
- Identify opportunities for market expansion and business diversification.
- Explore and develop new partnerships, collaborations, and business alliances.
Reporting and Analysis:
- Provide regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities.
- Analyse sales data to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
Travel Requirements:
- Must be willing to travel inter-state and locally as and when required for business meetings, client engagements, and project-related activities.
Tender Briefings and Site Visits:
- Attend tender briefings to gather relevant information and insights.
- Conduct site visits to assess project requirements and gather first-hand knowledge.
On-site Commitment:
- Must be willing to be based at the project site as and when required, demonstrating a commitment to overseeing and supporting the project's success.
**Salary**: RM1,850.00 - RM3,220.00 per month
