The Position

The Sales Director for APAC will be responsible for developing and executing key growth sales strategies, tactics, and action plans. This role includes market penetration, achieving annual targets, building strong customer relationships, and understanding market trends. The Sales Director will play a crucial role in driving profitability and commercial growth strategies for the region.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans and analyze trends for the APAC region to drive organic growth and align with the company's goals and objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners in the region.
- Provide regular sales forecasts, reports, and insights to senior management.
- Maintain a high degree of understanding of the product line and business value, ensuring that company strategies reflect the needs of customers.
- Identify new sales opportunities by leveraging contacts and industry knowledge and work closely with Flash teams to devise tactical plans that support the sales process.

Key Skills & Competencies
- Academic Degree: In a technical discipline or equivalent (finance/business administration is possible).
- Communication: Excellent oral and written communication skills for technical, business, and executive audiences, including effective demonstration and presentation techniques.
- Business Acumen: Solid understanding of business principles, market dynamics, and industry trends, capable of identifying opportunities and mitigating risks.
- Drive & Results: Consistently exceeds targets, drives revenue growth, and maintains high motivation.
- Numeracy: Strong numeracy skills, with the ability to adjust business models for customer satisfaction through advanced negotiation skills.
- Experimenting: High level of personal motivation and a positive approach to researching, analyzing, and documenting new business opportunities.
- Customer Relationship Development: Proven ability to develop customer relationships by listening to feedback, understanding, and anticipating future needs, and providing solutions to stated requirements.
- People Skills: Strong interpersonal skills for successful collaboration with individuals from different teams.

Work Experience Requirements
- At least 5 years of sales experience in direct sales of Software and/or VAS solutions to Tier 1 Mobile Operators in APAC region.
- Proven sales experience and track record with complex software solutions.
- Generation of annual organic growth
- Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas through the successful closure of complex deals
- Proven ability in the acquisition of new logos
- Well-connected to C-level and decision-makers.
- Fluent in English, other language is an advantage.
- Familiar with sales forecasting and planning processes
- Willingness to travel both locally and internationally as needed, sometimes on short notice.
