**About the client**:
Our client is a division of the larger Japanese multinational conglomerate company. It focuses on providing innovative solutions in the energy sector, particularly in areas such as power generation, transmission, distribution, and storage. The division's primary goal is to develop technologies that contribute to a more sustainable and efficient energy landscape.
**Responsibilities**:
- Assist the project manager(s) with administrative duties and processes.
- Schedule meetings and keep minutes.
- Break down the project into doable tasks and estimate the duration.
- Assist with planning, from start to finish of the project.
- Prepare and distribute project materials.
- Implement policies and procedures.
- Create weekly/bi-weekly/monthly workflow.
- Follow up on order resources.
- Track expenses and work on budget forecast
- Monitor progress of the project(s).
- Alert the project manager to issues as they arise.
- Report on team and project performance.
- Act as point of contact for the project team and facilitate communications.
- Assess project risk(s).
- Calculate project metrics, such as quality, costs, health, etc.
- Supervise and delegate tasks to project team member(s).
- Collaborate on stakeholder presentations.
- Foster positive relationships with stakeholders.
- Ensures that the project follows execution best practices and Hitachi policies.
- Ensures that the project consistently applies contract and claims management, in accordance with Hitachi policies and contractual.
**Requirements**:
- 1 or 2 years of work experience from Project Management experience and background or sales engineering experience.
- PMP certificate is advantage.
- SAP knowledge but it is not mandatory.
- Professional level ability with MS Office tools. Experience from MS Project.
- Have IT experienced or knowledge.
- Willing to travel frequently on business work.
- Fluent in oral and written English.
**Working Hours**:
Monday - Friday (8:00am to 5:30pm)
**Remuneration**:
MYR 2,500 - MYR 3,500
**Consultants in charge**:
**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 months
**Salary**: RM2,000.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
