About This Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Core Banking Support Team as a Software Development Specialist. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for end-to-end software development and support for all work transitioned from Group, focusing on L3 production fixes.

Responsibilities
  • Analyze and design software solutions, develop, test, implement, and maintain high-quality code.
  • Manage production problems and incidents, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption to services.
  • Partner with the Group domain team to plan and manage transitioned deliverables, ensuring seamless integration and high-quality outcomes.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for technical resolutions, managing incident, problem, and knowledge management processes for applications in scope.
Requirements
  • Minimum 4-5 years' experience in relevant Banking / Information Technology, with expertise in IBM AS400 platform, RPG, CL programming, and ALDON.
  • Knowledge of Silverlake's banking software suite and ability to develop, test, maintain, and recommend software improvements.
  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or similar domain; additional professional/technical qualifications advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Good understanding and experience in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) or AGILE methodologies.
