Customer Development Specialist

As a Customer Development Specialist at Unilever, you will play a critical role in representing the voice of Customer Business Development across the organization. This involves providing key integration touchpoints around commercial planning and governance, driving category and channel strategy, associated pricing and promo policies, and building brands' equity.
Key Responsibilities- Support Channel Strategy and Execution
- Plan, execute, and evaluate options jointly with Key Accounts for tailor-made promotion to enhance retailers' commitment and integrate promotion plans with marketing plans.
- Support in costing, pricing, timeline/project managing, and premium sourcing with Brand/Key Account Managers.
- Follow up with the sales team on any marketing/trade marketing initiatives to ensure smooth operation during implementation after the plan is cascaded by CSP manager/assistant manager.
- Manage deployment of POSM, GWP arrival, quantity allocation, and POSM/GWP storage via communication with internal stakeholders and external suppliers/agencies to ensure perfect execution and strong visibility of our products in the market.
- Connect and liaise with internal brand/CSP team and external agencies to ensure activation plans are being implemented smoothly on a regular basis.
- Support CSP activation lead to monitor major activation planning and execution progress such as annual big bet launch events and key roadshow activations.
- Review and assess past activation performance in terms of ROI and KPI achievements.
- Responsible for new product pipeline PIPO process in execution.
- Monitor leftover/slow-moving SKU stock levels and track the sell-in/out rate before delistment, providing information to CSP team members for clearance plans to minimize business waste.
- Allocate and communicate listing samples to key accounts for new product listings.
- Draft any trade letters on behalf of the CSP team to the sales team such as delistment, listing period changes, PIPO arrangements, and retail price changes announcements.
- Track and improve trade spending in POSM and GWP costs with external suppliers.
- Improve overall deployment processes and shorten timelines to roll out key activities in the market.
