About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Sales Engineer to join our team at Johnson Controls. As a global leader in smart, healthy and sustainable buildings, our mission is to reimagine the performance of buildings to serve people, places and the planet.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build relationships with customers to understand their needs and offer solutions within a standard framework or range on pricing and margin.
- Study product knowledge and company working procedures to continuously improve domain knowledge of products, company and industry.
- Plan annual secured order strategies aligned with department goals and achieve business sales targets with year-over-year growth expectations in the region.
- Prepare and issue tenders and proposals to customers, lead negotiation and/or bidding activities at optimum profit levels to the company, and close orders to achieve assigned goals and targets.
- Provide monthly reporting on assigned vertical secured and revenue attainment as well as non-financial reporting to the management team.
- Be proactive in liaising, developing relationships and influencing customers to maintain long-term service relationships and ensure high-level customer satisfaction.
- Develop sales leads and identify customer requirements.
- Monitor and collect competitors' activities in the market and report periodically directed by the company.
- Independently develop and follow up HVAC projects to provide solutions for customers.
- Responsible for promoting HVAC products and systems in design institutes, industry associations and integrators in the industry in the region.
- Conduct cold calls and new business development.
- Explore and execute end-to-end HVAC projects and provide product/industry solutions to customers.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or above, preferably in Mechanical engineering and HVAC engineering or Electrical/Electronic engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of working experience as a sales/marketing position in direct selling industrial machineries.
- Self-motivated, hardworking and positive.
- Strong interpersonal, presentation and selling skills.
- Good spoken and written English.
- Willing to travel frequently.
