Human Resources Manager Papua New Guinea

This is a key HR & Admin Manager position, based in Papua New Guinea, overseeing the oil palm plantation on contract basis.
The role encompasses a full spectrum of HR operations, requiring a professional with extensive experience in recruitment, employee transitions, and policy implementation.
Key Responsibilities- To coordinate hiring processes and ensure seamless employee transitions for all staff in Papua New Guinea.
- Coordinate all aspects of the recruiting process, from advertisement to onboarding.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive HR tools, including guidelines, checklists, and policy templates to streamline HR processes.
- Maintain organized personnel files and assist with payroll information and benefit administration.
- Assist with logistics and onboarding for new hires.
- Build trustful relationships with employees, providing support during challenging situations.
- Handle mediations when conflicts arise, ensuring confidentiality and professionalism.
- Foster a healthy work-life balance environment, encouraging employee well-being.
- Compile and maintain field office employee handbooks, ensuring compliance with labor laws.
- Ensure a productive, safe, and healthy work environment for all employees.
- Coordinate maintenance and aesthetics of the office space.
- Support administration of office insurance and assist with operational tasks.
- Proactively identify operational efficiencies and cost reduction opportunities.
- Candidates must hold at least a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management or equivalent.
- High proficiency in English and Mandarin is required.
- At least 5 years of working experience in HR and Administration is essential.
- Computer literacy and strong skills in Microsoft Office and payroll software are necessary.
- A positive attitude, self-motivation, and responsibility are crucial for success.
- Meticulous organization and ability to handle multiple tasks systematically are required.
