About the Role
We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist Manager to join our team in Malaysia. As an HR Generalist Manager, you will be responsible for managing the full spectrum of HR functions, including training and development, recruitment and selection, compensation and benefits administration, employee relations and welfare, performance management, payroll, and administration.
You will work closely with our leadership team to ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations in Malaysia and other relevant jurisdictions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of HR, including talent acquisition, employee engagement, and retention.
- Develop and implement HR strategies to drive business growth and improve employee experience.
- Provide guidance on HR-related matters, including disciplinary issues, grievances, and conflict resolution.
- Review and enhance HR systems, processes, and procedures to streamline operations.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience as an HR Assistant Manager/Manager role, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
- Proficient in HR software, payroll systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Well-versed in Malaysian Employment Act, Industrial Relations Law, Trade Union Act, and other guidelines and code of conduct prescribed by relevant authorities.
- Fluency in English and Mandarin is essential, as you will need to communicate effectively with colleagues and handle documents written in Mandarin characters.
Salary and Benefits
The estimated salary for this role is RM120,000 - RM150,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
