About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team at B. Braun Melsungen AG. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth and expansion in the sutures and biosurgical market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Development: Identify, research, and pursue business opportunities that align with our company's strategic goals and objectives.
  • Market Research: Conduct complex market research and analysis projects to evaluate findings and make recommendations to senior management.
  • Portfolio Strategy: Develop and drive portfolio strategy to expand and protect market share, optimize pricing strategy, and build long-term relationships with clients.
  • New Product Launch: Collaborate with global and local teams to develop positioning, pricing, and marketing strategy for new products.
  • Client Relationships: Establish and maintain long-term professional relationships with potential clients, customers, and partners to promote our products and services.
  • Training and Presentations: Conduct training and presentations to existing and potential customers to a high standard.
  • Event Planning: Plan and execute product-related events, such as training, live surgeries, and roundtable meetings.
  • Inventory Management: Work closely with the Supply Chain team to manage inventory and ensure products are available when needed.
  • Customer Support: Respond to inquiries and resolve problems in a timely fashion.
Requirements
  • Education: Possess a bachelor's degree.
  • Experience: 5 years of sales and marketing or business development experience in sutures and biosurgical.
  • Skills: Experience in the product listing and tender process, ability to organize internal training sessions, external workshops, and continuing medical education, and exposure in business development and Asia Pacific and Emerging Markets.
