Assist in sourcing and identifying foreign workers for various roles within the company in Malaysia.
- Ensure all foreign workers meet eligibility requirements, including skills, qualifications, and language proficiency.
- Prepare and submit necessary documentation for foreign workers’ work permits, such as Employment Pass (EP), S Pass, and Temporary Employment Pass (TEP).
- Liaise with the Immigration Department of Malaysia, Ministry of Human Resources (MOHR), and other relevant authorities to ensure compliance with local immigration laws and regulations.
- Monitor the status of work permits, visas, and follow up on any issues related to these processes.
- Ensure all foreign workers' work permits and visas are valid and comply with Malaysian laws.
- Coordinate the FOMEMA (Foreign Workers Medical Examination Monitoring Agency) process, ensuring that foreign workers undergo the mandatory health checkup as required by Malaysian law.
- Manage the renewal of FOMEMA permits for foreign workers, ensuring timely medical checks are conducted and all required documentation is submitted to FOMEMA.
- Ensure that all medical clearance certificates are updated in line with Malaysian regulations and comply with company policies.
- Maintain accurate records of FOMEMA medical examinations and ensure the timely renewal of permits.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of all foreign worker documentation, including work permits, visas, FOMEMA medical examination reports, and employment contracts.
- Ensure compliance with the Employment Act 1955, Immigration Act, and other relevant labor laws pertaining to foreign workers in Malaysia.
- Assist in preparing contracts for foreign workers in compliance with Malaysian employment standards.
- Handle any compliance issues that arise during the employment of foreign workers, such as expired permits or medical certifications.
- Assist with the onboarding process for foreign workers, including orientation on company policies, local labor laws, health and safety regulations, and other necessary procedures.
- Provide assistance with relocation logistics, including accommodation arrangements, transportation, and settling-in support for foreign workers.
- Guide foreign workers through local integration processes, including cultural orientation and understanding Malaysian labor laws.
- Serve as the point of contact for foreign workers regarding issues related to work permits, visa statuses, FOMEMA medical checks, and other HR matters.
- Liaise with external agencies such as recruitment firms, medical centers for FOMEMA checks, and government authorities to ensure timely processing of all necessary documents.
- Ensure effective communication between foreign workers and the HR department to address concerns and facilitate smooth employment transitions.
- Maintain accurate records of all foreign workers’ documentation, including work permits, visas, medical certificates, FOMEMA renewals, and employment contracts.
- Assist in preparing reports on the recruitment, compliance, and status of foreign workers for management review.
- Ensure that all documentation related to foreign workers is correctly filed and stored for audit and compliance purposes.
- Provide general administrative support to the HR department, including assisting with employee files, payroll processing, and other HR functions.
- Help with employee engagement initiatives and activities that integrate foreign workers into the company's culture and environment.
- Perform other HR-related duties as required to support the smooth operation of the HR team.
Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,000.00 per month
