We are working exclusively with our client, one of the largest commodity trading, warehousing and logistics businesses worldwide, to expand their logistics expanding its footprint in Asia.

The Challenges

You will be involved in the hunting for new freight and project cargo business focusing on SEA import/export to the world.
You will build new client relationships and nurture existing ones through meaningful interaction and solution selling.
You will build the company’s logistics capabilities and brand visibility while creating footprints in relevant key markets and sectors such as mining, metals and mineral, agricultural, oil & gas markets.
By leveraging your own network in SEA and further establishing relationships with various partners not limited to associations, breakbulk vessel brokers/operators, carrier agents and freight forwarders in key countries such as Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam.
You will work with internal stakeholders to address internal and external operational issues, liaising and coordinating with vendors (ports operators, authorities, transporters etc.) and internal clients.
You will communicate, share and collaborate with all overseas branches on Freight & Project leads to and from SEA through monthly sharing of commercial activity and sales pipeline with the senior management team.
What It Takes

You should possess a Degree from a recognized University
Minimum 5 years of sales experience with proven achievement in building up sales portfolio
We are looking for an accomplished self-starter who is able to hands-on/lead the whole cycle of commercial process from acquisition to fulfilment
You should be able to travel regularly locally and regionally when required (20%)
