**Purpose of Position**

Provides operational support on full spectrum of HR functions including recruitment and selection, on-boarding, compensation & benefits, performance management, learning & development, off-boarding etc. Works closely with the HR Manager in supporting on strategic HR operation and functions to maximizing employee productivity.

**_Job Description_**

HR Operations:

- Manage, monitor, and process staff transfer, staff confirmation, promotion and upgrading exercise, staff contract expiry and resignation in timely manner.
- Organize the filing of employees’ personal file in a systematic and timely manner.
- Responsible for employee lifecycle HR operations including but not limited to on-boarding and off-boarding, employment contract preparations, employment certification letters, benefits enrolment, transfer, leave management etc.
- Accountable for smooth running of day-to-day HR operations and to ensure standardization of HR practices across departments.
- Serve as first point of contact for HR queries.
- Achieving HR Operational excellence and improvement.
- Provide general administrative support to the HR Team to ensure smooth operations within the team and inter-department.
- Daily/Weekly/Monthly reporting to the team on HR related issues.
- Ensure full compliance with the local statutory requirements.
- Monitor and maintain HR data accuracy in all HR related systems.

Recruitment:

- Conduct effective Onboarding Induction briefings to new staff.
- Effective liaison with hiring managers and relevant units to ensure smooth on-boarding experience for new staff.
- Facilitate the collection of all relevant pre and post-employment documentation from new employee in a timely manner to ensure efficient and seamless processing by other HR sub-units.

Compensation & Benefits:

- Manage internal remuneration package benchmark against external and internal remuneration equities.
- To ensure pay structures and benefits plans are competitive, attractive to potential talent.
- Work closely with payroll vendors and liaises with various government agencies such as LHDN, KWSP, SOCSO, HRDF, etc.
- Ensure administration of employee earning information, and monthly payroll, business and statutory requirements are completed in a timely and accurate manner.
- Assist in compensation and benefits projects such as annual salary/bonus review, annual performance appraisal.
- Manage employee database, attendance, leave and payroll.
- Prepare Year-end Remuneration Returns.

Employee Relations:

- Handle grievances and disciplinary procedures including conducting investigations, preparing the necessary disciplinary letters, conduct counselling as well as domestic inquiries.
- Interpreting and advising on employment legislation; develop and implement policies on a variety of workplace issues i.e., disciplinary procedures, absence management, working conditions, performance management and equal opportunities.

**Requirement**
- Ability to work effectively by creating a collaborative relationship, establishing credibility, and influencing others.
- Deep operational experience is essential with previous exposure to rapidly scaling businesses and HR functions is an advantage.
- Competent in working with numbers and Microsoft Office especially Excel and Word.
- Minimum bachelor’s degree preferably with a diploma in Business/Economics, HR, Legal or related disciplines.
- Good orientation in all major HR functional areas.
- Minimum 5 years of human resources working experience in payroll and industrial relations.
- Knowledge of supporting multiple HR fields (compensation, benefits, talent development, and HRIS)
- Willing to work at Penang.
