Technical Sales Specialist

**Technical Sales Specialist**:
- Responsibilities- End-to-end sales processes from marketing to selling technological and scientific products to the scientific laboratory customers including government labs, research and academic customers
- As well as private industrial scientific laboratories with the objective of meeting and exceeding sales targets / goals.
- The applicant should have technical expertise and in-depth scientific knowledge of molecular, cellular, genomics and/ or analytical testing including spectroscopy and chromatography methods
- Having laboratory skills and experience would be an advantage but not critical
- By analyzing customer needs and using your technical knowledge to explain product features and benefits you would be able to make recommendations for relevant products
- Building, developing new accounts/customers and maintaining relationships with clients through regular touch points such as customer visits, seminars, and/ or product demos
- Required to work with the Field Applications Specialist to demonstrate our product capabilities, oversee product installation and staying on top of industry trends
- Requirements- Possess Degree in the Sciences (Chemistry/Biochemistry/Biotechnology)
- Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience
- Strong analytical and communication skills with strong commercial disposition
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Laboratory experience would be an added advantage
- Able to start work immediately preferred
- Applicants must own a car and a valid driver’s license
