We are looking for an experienced Desktop Support / IT Support Technician to join our team. The main purpose of this position is to ensure that all workstations, network devices, printers, hardware, and software are up to specifications and functioning correctly, enabling users to perform their tasks efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactive Maintenance: Maintain branch equipment, including UPS, switches, Wi-Fi, CCTV, and access control systems.
  • IT Equipment Support: Ensure personal computers, laptops, and IT equipment are in optimal condition, with proper operating systems (MS Windows and Office) installed.
  • Technical Expertise: Basic command line proficiency in Linux is beneficial, and experience with Python is considered an asset.
  • International Context Experience: Prior experience working in an international context can be advantageous.

Meet IT Support Service Level Agreements

  • Prioritize Tasks: Prioritize accordingly to meet customer satisfaction standards.
  • Daily Activities: Plan and organize daily activities to ensure tasks are completed on time.

Helpdesk Support Function

  • Action Assigned Tickets: Action assigned tickets on the ticketing system.
  • Update Tickets: Update tickets daily.
  • Provide Feedback: Give timely feedback.
  • Closed Tickets: Ensure that tickets are closed timeously with high-quality service ensuring minimal comebacks.
Requirements
  • Experience: 2-5 years of working experience in Technical support / IT Support / Desktop / Helpdesk experience.
  • Previous Experience: Previous JIRA experience or similar ticketing system.
  • Certifications and Qualifications: Additional certifications and IT qualifications will be an advantage. IE CompTIA A+, ITIL.
  • Knowledge: Knowledge of Active Directory, MS Office Suite, Windows XP, Win 7, Win 8, and Win 10 & 11.

Estimated salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year based on location and experience.
