Director of Sales and Business Development

The Director of Sales and Business Development will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of business plans to achieve sales targets, overseeing teams of sales managers and account managers, and ensuring the successful sales performance and profit generation of the company.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead project segment to meet customer needs and develop project pipeline planning to grow BlueScope market share in the building and construction industry.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with project segment customers and key stakeholders by assessing and validating customer needs.
- Develop project segment strategies and plans to deliver volume and profit goals, and provide clear external engagement plans and tactics.
- Responsible for project segment forecast, improve forecast accuracy, analyze project pipeline and results, and provide rolling 12 months forecast in demand planning.
- Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience as a Sales Manager, Channel leader or in a similar sales leadership role.
- Experience in the project segment, understand project planning, wide network in the B&C industry.
- Strong sales and negotiation skills with a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools.
- Knowledge of the industry and market trends.
- Ability to travel as required.
