Key Responsibilities:
  • Event Sales Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to meet and exceed revenue targets for event spaces and services.
  • New Business Opportunities: Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities and market trends to expand the resort's event portfolio.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, wedding planners, event organizers, and other key stakeholders.
  • Site Inspections and Presentations: Conduct site inspections and presentations to showcase the resort's facilities and services.
  • Proposal Development: Prepare tailored proposals, contracts, and event packages that align with client needs and budget requirements.
  • Negotiation and Deal Closing: Negotiate terms and close deals to secure bookings.
  • Collaboration with Internal Teams: Work closely with the operations, catering, and sales teams to ensure seamless execution of events and high levels of guest satisfaction.
  • Event Briefing: Provide detailed event briefs to internal teams to ensure all client requirements are met.
  • Sales Performance Monitoring: Monitor and analyze sales performance, prepare regular reports, and adjust strategies as needed to achieve revenue goals.
  • Accurate Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records of bookings, contracts, and client communications in the CRM system.
Qualifications:
  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in event sales, preferably within the hospitality industry.
  • Proven Track Record: Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing high-value accounts.
  • Strong Skills: Strong negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Organizational Ability: Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in CRM software (Delphi Amadeus and Opera Cloud) and Microsoft Office Suite.
