Application Support Manager

Act as the Single Point of Contact for Delivery for the project - Manage large scale project, various vendors across domains for seamless delivery - Responsible for End to End Service Delivery for the portfolio / LOB being managed - Devise Corrective and Preventive actions for any Service Level breaches, near misses and Customer escalations - Interact with internal and external stakeholders (Customer and Vendor liaison) - Should possess good communication skills and customer relations. - Act as the Cognizant Delivery team point of contact for the portfolio - Support Service Management / process related activities performed by the SMO with relevant delivery data. - Plan, track, approve and maintain service effort on management information systems. - Ensure that status reports & dashboards are sent to the customer for the project(s) at the agreed intervals. - Coordinate and test Service Continuity plan on a periodic basis - Resolving all customer requests, issues / escalations in a timely manner - People management skills besides excellent analytical and technical skills. - Perform quality assurance to ensure all deliverables are in good quality - Provide system support, including user inquiry and problem solving - Assist in the creation of the team KPIs as well as monitor and report on results - Monitor team performance and report on metrics. - Ensure that all customer inquiries and issues are solved correctly and in a prompt and professional manner. - Maintenance of Project and BAU tasks within Project Plan and JIRA Being able to manage multiple projects running concurrently, along with day-to-day management of BAU operational activities for customers in production - Effective adaption of governance processes and standard templates and procedures Management /resolution of Project Administration queries Complete ownership of project deliverables and resolve impediments reported by Delivery leads to enable smooth delivery for projects
