Job Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through a hunter mentality, while maintaining and growing relationships with existing accounts (farmer mentality).
  • Utilize a solid understanding of the manufacturing and automotive sectors in Malaysia to identify key market trends and opportunities.
  • Develop and implement effective tactics for generating high-quality leads, leveraging market insights and innovative approaches to reach target customers.
  • Establish, maintain, and grow a strong network of contacts within the industry.
  • Engage with customers to understand their needs, propose tailored solutions, and ensure a high level of satisfaction, positioning our offerings as the top choice.

Job Requirements:

  • Proven experience in sales, ideally within the System Integrator (SI) space, with a preference for experience with Principals.
  • In-depth knowledge of the manufacturing and automotive industries in Malaysia, including key players, trends, and challenges.
  • Strong abilities in lead generation, account management, and sales strategies. Capable of developing and executing both hunting and farming strategies.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain a network of contacts in the industry, including channel development.
  • Proactive, driven, and able to work independently to achieve sales targets and contribute to overall business goals.
  • Good leadership qualities and able to guide/ coach other team members.
